Below I have three pieces of fashion advice I believe every girl should consider.

I used to wonder why I had such a hard time trying to be trendy. I've tried keeping up with trends but they soon become faux pas. It took the latest pastels and neon trend for me to realise that I don't need to try and keep up. I mean, what's wrong with being timeless and elegant? That is why when I saw the advice, below, from a Cosmopolitan magazine I had to share it because it's the absolute truth!!!

"here's a fashion oxymoron: to be always in style, you've got to give up being trendy. As every truly chic woman has learnt, trends come and go; timeless stays."

Another piece of style advice that I read (but can't remember where) is:

"Dress for the job you want and not the job you have."

And, last but not least, some advice I read in a Shop 'Til You Drop magazine:

"Only buy the pieces that you really love!"

The Australian Chic Wardrobe

When I thought of the concept of this blog I was going to name it The French Chic Wardrobe. But then I thought, wait! I'm from Australia! Why am I calling it French Chic?!?! I'm wanting Australian Chic!

And, there was born The Australian Chic Wardrobe.

The Australian Chic wardrobe is no different from the French Chic Wardrobe. Hence, why this blog was almost named with a European twist. It's a minimalists wardrobe. Full of good quality pieces that compliment the body and makes you feel good. It doesn't follow trends - it is timeless and elegant. And, it doesn't have to cost an arm and a leg which you'll learn from my posts to follow.
